Leake Street Arches

Graffiti and street art are permitted and actively encouraged on the walls of the 300 metre long Leake Street Tunnel which passes beneath the tracks of Waterloo Station. Due to the nature of this genre of art, it is forever evolving, with artists continually painting over or modifying the current work. If you feel inspired to leave your own mark, regular graffiti art workshops are held by the Tunnel’s Artist in Residence, and are open to students of all ages and backgrounds to bring their vision to life while learning the skill of using spray cans. There are a few places to grab a drink and a snack within the tunnel, and also regular pop-up events to visit. @leakestreetarches
